Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I set up an admin password on  my networked LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdn when I was in a hurry and forgot it. How do I reset the printer so I can reconfigure it?  I dont see any information on how to accomplish this on the non-touch screen models like mine.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you want to reset the printer admin password, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a NVRAM reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
