I have an HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 printer and it was connected via router to my Pavilion Note Book on Windows 10. Now it always shows Off Line. I have attempted removal, removal of the programmes, reinstallation of drivers, all the suggestions from HP Doc, and I cannot reinstall this printer. It always shows "Printer Drivers unavailable". The amazing thing is that my iPhone/iPad connects without drivers every time. I have installed all the HP updates even the BIOS update and nothing works. Can I be helped or is this a permanent defect?

Welcome to HP Community
I suggest you uninstall the printer driver from root level and download the full feature software
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions

Thanks for the response. I have tried every combination but I cannot remove the printer software, something to do with Administrator rights. What I did try was to use the USB cable rather than the WiFi interface, and it works. It is a pity that the WiFi option fails but I will have to live with this. Strangely enough my iPhone and iPad have no issues with the wireless interface.

- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Try installing the printer using the IP address:
- On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Add a printer(at the top)
- Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
- Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
- Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless icon on the printer screen
- Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
- Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
- Try printing.
Let me know how this goes.

I have posted before and Kumar0307 offered HP Support Community. The issue is that my HP Pavilion always sees my HP Ink Tank printer as off line while all my Apple products has no such issues. I have done the removing and re-installing the printer and the drivers and no luck. I found that when using the USB cable, it works. It was suggested by Kumar0307 that I install using the IP address rather, but no luck. I think the printer or the PC interface is the issue. At this stage I thank those that tried, but as the Great Steve Jobs said "End to end control", Windows is just too temperamental and HP is too closely married to Windows, so its a married made in hacker heaven, or better known as hell. I will stick with the USB interface even though it feels like the old days of DOS 3.3.
