SWHELPER

This question has been asked MULTIPLE times by various users for almost one year, but has never been answered adequately by HP. **Is SWHELPER part of the HP package or not?**  The only way to install the drivers is to allow SWHELPER. Is it part of the HP package or not ?

Also see the photo below, this implies it IS in fact part of the HP package.Please look at the file path at the bottom of the screenshot, it says: Applications > HP Easy Start >Contents > Mac OS > there are 2 files here: HP Easy Start and SW Helper. Can somebody from HP please confirm this once and for all

@NICOLE341 You already know that answer to your question as you've mentioned that it is showing HP Easy start on it, either way if you must know from an HP personal, the answer is YES, it is a part of the HP Package installer and it contains a backup of HP drivers installed on your device, in case of an error with the driver, this backup can be utilized to reinstall without the need of downloading the file again using the internet.
