Hello !
I have a problem: my printer Samsung MultiXpress X3220NR is stuck on boot logo and firmware update not executing
Device Info
Model: Samsung MultiXpress SL-X3220NR
(edited)
Original Firmware Version: V3.00.11.00_1.16.7_20180205
Current Symptom: The printer prints documents from the computer, but the display is stuck on the “Samsung” logo with a continuous beeping sound. No menu access is possible.
---
What I’ve tried so far
1. Network diagnostics via SyncThru Web Service
The printer is reachable via its IP address.
All system and firmware info is displayed correctly.
The printer successfully receives and prints jobs sent from a PC.
2. Special menu access
I can enter the touchscreen calibration menu using * 0 # → touchscreen works fine.
I also accessed the firmware update mode:
Screen shows: MWS419 TSP F/W UPDATE MODE
Current Firmware Code: moved from 0x67 to 0x68, then 0x69, indicating partial firmware updates.
Frequencies offered: 300&700kHz, 450&650kHz, 500&800kHz
3. Firmware update via PC (usbprns.exe)
I used usbprns.exe and usbprns2.exe
File used: X3220_ONEROM_V3.00.17.00_JUN-01-2022.hd
Transfer starts correctly (downloading........ appears in cmd)
The version on the update screen changes (0x67 > 0x68 > 0x69)
But the printer never reboots or completes the update
4. Firmware update via USB key
Formatted USB to FAT32, renamed .hd file to MFS.FLS
Plugged into the back port, tried all 3 frequency options
No reaction, no update started
5. USB transfer with the same .hd file as used via usbprns
Tried the exact same file both via usbprns.exe and from USB stick
Same result: no successful flash, no reboot
---
Conclusion so far
The printer accepts and stores the firmware, but fails to execute it.
The bootloader is working, but something blocks the update process (possibly signature check, file structure, or hardware compatibility).
The issue seems to require a firmware version closer to the original (V3.00.11).

Request
I am looking for a .hd firmware file compatible with the SL-X3220NR, in English or multi-language, preferably:
V3.00.12.00
V3.00.13.00
V3.00.14.00
Any official instructions or bootloader recovery
methods are also welcome.
Regards.
