My Printer is HP Smart Tank 710-720, printer shown offline but after restart Printing is working but Scanner is not working, please suggest.

 

It says, scanner not available.

When facing issues with the scanner not working on your HP Smart Tank 710-720, follow these steps to resolve the problem:

Step 1: Restart the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power source.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the printer and the power source.
  5. Turn on the printer.

Step 2: Check for Software Updates

Ensure your printer has the latest firmware updates:

  1. Access Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  2. Click on the Tools tab.
  3. From the left menu, click Printer Updates, and then click Firmware Updates.
  4. Select the latest firmware update and click Apply.

Step 3: Use HP Smart App

  1. Download and install the HP Smart app from here.
  2. Use it to diagnose and possibly fix any issues.
  3. The app can help perform scanning tasks and manage printer settings.
