Serial Number is not valid for my Office Jet Pro 81253

There was not a Board that fit my question, but this may be the closest. 

When I tried to get some help on my Office Jet Pro 8125e that was delivered to my house today, and I was asked for the serial number; after entering it many, many times it tasted it was not valid. Once that happens I could go no further. How does one ever get to talk to a real Live person at HP?
