Hi @Czap1inAJ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to set up your HP ENVY 6455e to print single-sided pages on Windows 11, follow these steps:

Method 1: Change Print Settings for a Single Print Job

  1. Open the document you want to print.
  2. Press Ctrl + P (or go to File > Print).
  3. Select your HP ENVY 6455e printer.
  4. Click on Printer Properties or Preferences.
  5. Look for the Duplex Printing or Two-Sided Printing option.
  6. Select Off or Print on one side only.
  7. Click OK, then Print.

Method 2: Set Single-Sided as Default

  1. Open Control Panel (Press Win + R, type control, and hit Enter).
  2. Click Devices and Printers.
  3. Right-click on your HP ENVY 6455e and select Printing preferences.
  4. Find the Duplex Printing or Two-Sided Printing option.
  5. Select Off or Print on one side only.
  6. Click Apply, then OK.

Now, all future print jobs will default to single-sided.

Let me know if you need more help! 😊

There is also a setting through the toolbox that will force the printer to always print two-sided and you may need to turn it off. Refer to the user guide here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06584213.pdf
