I have a new computer.  I have not set up my smart tank on it, but I am able to print on it because my wife's computer has the necessary drives and is connected by WiFi.  My question is whether or not I should download the software on my computer and proceed from there.  I can do ethernet, WiFi or USB connection.  What is the best plan for my situation?  Thanks.

Yes, you should download software and install your printer.
