HP OfficeJet Pro8025

I just took the HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 series printer out of the box and I'm attempting to set it up.  It turned on without a problem and I followed the directions for installing the ink and adding paper.  Now it says "printing the alignment page" and it will not go beyond that step.  There is no home button or any way to get off of this step.  I have unplugged and started over and the same thing happens.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Interesting problem, can you try to remove the Ink cartridges and then power cycle the printer?

Once the printer starts up again, does it prompt you for ink installation and then proceed to print the alignment page?

This resource shows to entire Unbox and setup process.

Thanks.

I tried removing the ink cartridges and then powering down and up.  It did not ask me to install them like the first time, but said that there seemed to be one or more missing.

I watched the video and followed the exact same steps.  It is stuck again at the "printing the alignment page".
