Setting up printer for first time , had previously hp 2720 sent back as would not print After a year and needed to sign up to ink service.. bought envy 6000e and want to sign up to ink service but when setting up a message came up to say ‘cannot obtain your printer Details ‘ and won’t let me finish set up and Therefore sign up for the free 6 months ink service as advertised
and ideas ?
Any help much appreciated
ps I downloaded the free claim code but when putting that in the hp smart app . It’s says must Add the ink service In set up

I understand you are trying to setup in instant ink service.
Your HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer is eligible for HP Instant Ink!
Follow the instructions to enroll in instant ink-

If your printer has not yet been added to your HP account, go to 123.hp.com to download the HP Smart app for your computer or mobile device. The HP Smart app guides you through the printer setup and enrollment process.

If your printer has already been added to your HP account but is not yet enrolled in Instant Ink, follow these steps.

Sign into your HP Instant Ink account.

If HP Instant Ink
displays as a choice in the left menu, click HP Instant Ink > Plan Overview.

Click Enroll Another Printer or Enroll/Replace Printer to complete the enrollment.
