Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello.  I have not used my printer for some months and, unsurprisingly, it said it was 'offline'.  It was not recognised for troubleshooting by either the app or Scan Doctor.  Having had this before, I decided to remove it from the system and then reconnect (has worked before) - but this time it says 'driver unavailable'.  Nothing else!

I cannot do a factory reset as the printer isn't recognised, I cannot remove or uninstall it as that option isn't available to me (it's simply listed but with no other option).  I have spent hours going round the houses trying every which way to solve this problem.  I've managed to find a way of removing it (can't work out how to do it again!) and then tried to restart the whole process (got it to issue a PIN) and then, I'm back again, saying driver unavailable.  i've redownloaded all the drivers but can't load them as the printer isn't recognised.

Can anyone out there help me as I'm caught in a viscous circle leaving me frustrated and tearing my hair out!!  I have searched the chat rooms and can't find a solution that works for me.  It's a catch 22 as nothing recognises the printer.  And I can't reset it.  And I can't remove the software as it says it's in use!!!

GGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!  Bloody HP Printers.  How many hours do I have to spend working round these problems??

Thank you so much!!!  All sorted and working perfectly.  I am so grateful to you responding to me.

I still hate HP printers!  I still can't work out why they go offline so frequently and cause so many headaches and wasted hours trying to re-connect them.
