Hello,
A few days ago i bought a new printer.
This printer is connected in a public network. So there are many other people who can access my printer.
I just want to ask now if there is a possibility to secure my printer from unauthorized printing.
I imagined something like needing to press Okay in order to authorize a printing task.
Or that you have to enter a password on your pc to connect to the printer.

Hi Max,
A such is not possible with a password.
You may, however, use the printer firewall to block any connection with any IP address on the network but yours.
You may follow the below steps which belong to another model but should be similar:
https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c02710999
Be sure to carefully go through the steps to avoid blocking yourself, be sure to enable the HTTPS Enforcement option (or some similar naming) of the firewall so in case you are getting blocked you may access the page using an HTTPS prefix and change the settings.
This way you may create a rule to deny any connection but the connection from your computer's IP Address.
