Product: Smart Tank 5100
Operating System: Linux

I use Linux on a desktop My old hp 3 in one was not working correctly so I purchased a Smart Tank 5100. I have connected via USB and Cups finds the printer but I do not know what to select for the PPD. I have hplip-3.23.12 installed.

OK I now believe I have the correct PPD set up in cups. However, the left print head icon is flashing on and off indicating something is wrong with the color print head. I did have the printer print presumably the alignment page which shows that the color print head was working but I could not scan the page. Possibly because of the error which I did not see until later. I'm not sure what to do. Brand new printer prints once and now it says the color print head is bad.
