Setting up a HP OfficeJet Pro 9018e with no setup cartridges

I bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 9018e from Sam's(Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX) it was a display model and purchased "as is" did not realize that is needed special setup cartridges.  Is there a way for me to setup without set-up cartridges? Or is there a way for me to buy Set-up Cartridges?

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error 

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
