this is my second printer in a few days. Same issue. Stuck on the Scan and print alignment page not doing it all buttons are flashing. Please help

 

Ink is in, WiFi pass is in and  printheads are in.

Try these steps:

Verify Hardware Setup

Check Ink Cartridges and Printheads:

  • Ensure that all ink cartridges and printheads are properly installed.
  • Verify that the protective tape has been removed from the cartridges.

Check Paper Loading:

  • Ensure that the printer has sufficient paper loaded in the input tray.

Ensure Printer Cover is Closed:

  • Make sure all printer covers are securely closed.

Reset Printer

Turn Off and Unplug Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for a minute.

Restart Printer:

  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • Allow the printer to complete its startup process.

Perform Manual Alignment

Access Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer’s control panel, locate the alignment and cleaning option.

Run Alignment Process:

  • Follow the prompts to print an alignment page.
  • Place the alignment page face down on the scanner, and initiate the scan process.

Use HP Smart App

Install HP Smart App:

Connect and Setup Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app and follow the instructions to add your HP Smart Tank 5107 printer.
  • Use the app to run the alignment process.

Check for Firmware Updates

  1. Update Printer Firmware:
    • Go to the HP Support page for your printer model.
    • Download and install any available firmware updates.
