Hello,

 

Is it possible to disable color printing from the printer settings (from the device itself) so that no one prints even with color option selected from their own devices gets printouts in black?

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you want to disable the color printing option, I am glad to assist you.

There is no option to restrict color printing in this printer model.

Some color ink is used even when printing with a black cartridge only for better print quality.
