I've recently been set this printer from my work and cannot complete the setup. I'm hit with the error "Remove the cartridges and check for leaks, If any are leaking contact HP support"

 

I've checked multiple times and no leaks found but printer will not allow me to proceed. I understand that the setup cartridges are required for initial setup and that's what I'm using. I've gone through the virtual online (automated) support and its either not applicable or doesn't work.

The error is not regarding the use of setup ink cartridges. Let us try these steps:

Check if the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective one. Make sure you are using HP ink cartridges.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error

 

If the error persists please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options.

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

 

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.
