Product: HP DeskJet Plus 4155
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I was asked to help a friend that just purchased a HP DeskJet Plus 4155 that she planned to attach to a Macbook that she can not connect to the Internet. The only software download that we can find on HP's site point to the Apple App Store installer.  For some security reasons, this Macbook she can not connect it to wired or wireless connection, more over not to the Internet.  We are hoping that HP provides a way that from another computer that does connect to the internet that she can download a driver installer, copy it to a usb thumb drive, copy it the this (no internet access) Macbook to install the driver/software for this new HP DeskJet Plus 4155 printer. She needs printing, scanning and copying functionality and has connected this new HP DeskJet Plus 4155 to her (no internet access) Macbook with ONLY a usb cable.  We a hoping for assistance to solve the problem she's facing.

Hi,

HP Smart requires internet access and can only be downloaded from the Apple Mac App Store.

 

Please use AirPrint to copy and scan, copying can be done regardless:
