I am going through the Setup instructions provided on the HP website and using them to install my HP Envy 6010 Series printer on a new device in my home. It is already installed correctly on 2 other devices (both windows 10). This is a new laptop with Windows 11.

 

When following setup steps on HP Smart, I hold the wireless button until the lights turn purple, search for the printer using HP Smart on my new laptop and select the device. It then prompts me to confirm proximity to the printer by pressing the 'i' button on the printer. I do so, and it makes all the right lights and noises on the printer, but the pop-up window on HP Smart stays showing 'confirm proximity...'. I cannot close this pop-up, or continue with the setup, and the printer has not been installed on this device.

 

Please help, I have tried what feels like everything and I really need this printer to work on this new device ASAP!
