Product: HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Just setting up brand new printer HP ENVY Photo 7855. The printer did not ship with setup cartridges. We installed both a black and color HP 64 cartridge. The screen on the printer is now reading "Use SETUP cartridges that came with your printer" These did not come with our printer .... we cannot get past this message in order to print.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
