Hello,

 

I need to package this driver software for enterprise deployment through SCCM

I have downloaded the HP LaserJet Pro M479fdn Printer Full Software Solution which is the CLJM478f-M479f_UW_Full_WebPack_48.4.4589.exe.

 

I have extracted the content from the provided Full_WebPack exe. The content then includes the HP-DQEX5.exe which is the application installer, however this DOES NOT OPEN when you run it on its own after the extraction. Instead there is a Setup.exe which if you run then runs the HP-DQEX5.exe.

 

PROBLEM: I cannot get the Setup.exe to install silently, I have tried every command switch I can think of. I need to package this application without connecting to a printer, so the 'Maanual Setup' option and then  'Connect later' option during the install.

 

Please help how I can package this driver software for silent installation for enterprise deployment. I have attached a photo of the HP_DQEX5.exe and Setup.exe you get after you extract the CLJM478f-M479f_UW_Full_WebPack_48.4.4589.exe. downloaded from your website.

You are better off using the UPD driver. Download PARK, printer administrator resource kit which has everything you need create a custom install.

Hello, thanks for your reply. We already have the UPD packaged but this is only for simple print. We need the full functionality of the MFP so need the full drivers packaging
