Since one of the Windows 11 updates in the second half of June my printer is offline. I found out that the printer driver is no longer present or operational.
All efforts to reinstall the printer driver (via Smart app, reinstallation of the printer, problem solution, problem doctor, etc.) failed. Most solutions include reinstallation of the Smart app, but that also fails (Error Code: OW_500_OWSID00001)
Help needed!

The solution did not work.
Printer prints fine when USB connected to W 10 computer. It is recognised when plugged in to W11 computer, but drivers do not install. Not even when using HP Smart installation process.

then the complete HP software should be uninstalled on the W11 system first,
Here's what you need to do:
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP Universal Scan - Full Feature Software and Driver
File name: Full_Webpack-51.8.5837-SJ0001_Full_Webpack.exe (411.1 MB)
Important: "Expand all" and read this informations. - Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE,
Full_Webpack-51.8.5837-SJ0001_Full_Webpack.exe
Reminder: the software will ask for the connection ... only then connect the printer! - The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
