I have the 2755e. My printer has never gone into sleep mode before, until now. I moved my printer to another town with new wifi and now it stays in sleep mode. I cannot get it to print from any of my devices.

Hi @Suzie0,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there may be some connectivity issues preventing your HP 2755e printer from waking up and connecting to your new Wi-Fi network properly. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Restart your printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
  • Check Wi-Fi connection: Make sure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You may need to access the printer's settings to verify or reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router: Sometimes, network issues can prevent devices from connecting properly. Try restarting your Wi-Fi router to see if this resolves the problem.
  • Update printer firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. HP often releases firmware updates to address bugs and improve performance.
  • Reset network settings: If you're still having trouble, you can try resetting the network settings on your printer and then reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi network.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the sleep mode issue with your HP 2755e printer and get it working properly again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
