I'm an infrequent user and my old printer heads would block up, hence I bought a new Smart Tank 555. However, it hasn't printed properly since day 1. It will not scan at all, but copies and prints a document, but the print quality isn't good. I have replaced the black print head but still doesn't print a complete document with black. It skips parts of the top section and edges or is smudged, but it prints well with other colours. I can't find a set of drivers that support it? I'm an older person (pensioner) and struggle with tech, so no tech speak please. It's hard wired to my desktop PC. If I print a letter with several pages, it will stop at the end of each page and I have to push the "continue" button on the printer. Any help at all would be well received.
I have tried all the gadgets on the HP "fix it" section, but it doesn't help at all. It's by far the worst piece of kit I've ever bought.
Many thanks in anticipation.

This is the full feature software for Windows and includes scanning drivers
After installing, click the windows key and select all apps and find HP. Look for HP Scan.
If HP scan is not present then use HP Smart.
I do not know what the problem is with the paper feed. Possibly the wrong length paper (A4? A2? etc) is configured. This is just a guess. Look at the printer properties and options.
If only the black ink cartridge has a problem then examine how it fits in the the print head. This seems like a defect and returnable under warranty.
