HP Smart Tank 7005 All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 11

I tried to respond to the question at Permalink (hp.com) but it was locked.

I also have a Yoga Slim 7 14Q8X9 and have been trying to get the Smart interface to work with my HP Smart Tank 7005 All-in-one. I can install the standard windows driver for the printer and get most of the facilities but would like the Smart interface and extra bits (eg booklet printing).

When SUPD (SUPD-V4-ARM64-4.01.2.2972.exe) is installed, it adds the relevant printer device and seems to connect to the actual printer but every time I print using that device, the job appears in the print queue but, shortly afterwards, is flagged as Deleted and the job ends.

Any clues as to what is going wrong?

I looked at that thread answered by @Repairatrooper and there has been no new release since then.

The software can be found here after expanding the "Download the HP smart universal printing driver"

I have not had a Lenovo laptop since they were known as IBM.  Sorry.

Thanks, @BeemerBiker. Yes, I was hoping this might prompt more insights from other Copilot+ laptop users: whether it is a Lenovo only problem; or a known workaround. Will also try the Lenovo forum if such exists.
