Product: HP Laserjet Professional M1530 MFP Series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to install the full software set for a user with an LJ Pro M1530 MFP:

- run installer as ADM 

- installer recognizes printer is there

- fails out at 99%

 

Both the Basic Print Drivers setup and the Full Software Setup fail out

@BearlyAwesome, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  • To assist you better, what is the exact model of the printer you are using?
  • Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.
  • How is the printer connected to the PC?

Check for any pending Windows updates on the PC

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
