 I tried Greenturtles solution to uninstal windows update and it worked. my HP imaging is working now.  OMG..i have been working on this thing for 3 days.

Yes, Microsoft will install the update again unless you hide it.

 

 

Please find the following relevant video that shows you how to "Uninstall Windows 10 updates" and also to "Hide updates" to prevent Windows from installing the update in future!

Have the same problem. After latest Win10 update, Solution Center fails to open (get chime). also did the unistall/install with no different result.

 

Is there anything out there about newer HP printers i.e., HP Envy 7640 or Photosmart 7520, not being able to scan and/or fax? They do not use Solution Center software.

Newer printer would not see the issue as those do not have Solution Center.
