HP Recommended

The solution that HP is suggesting - downloading 3133431 as a patch for 3132372 - only appears to work for 8.1, despite what any of the accompanying words might suggest.

Take a look at the Windows Update Catalogue - it specificially states that 3133431 is only for Windows 8.

 

I am following HP's advice and won't uninstall any Windows security update.

 

By the way, I can't find the allegedly troublesome update 3132372 on my Windows 10 anyway.

 

So maybe there's another problem.

 

Solution Centre worked fine May 9. Installed Windows updates May 10. Solution Center doesn't work.

Maybe it's a problem with KB 4020821, which my update history tells me was a security udate affecting Adobe Flash.
