Product: HP LaserJet MFP M140we Printer
Operating System: Linux

Hello everyone. Newly i bought a HP LaserJet MFP M140WE printer; now i'd wish to deactivate (before it gets too late) the RFU (Remote Firmware Update). Since there's practically no display on printer, i'd want to do this operation through the browser. But the HP support shows a procedure which is not on my setup panel on Debian 11. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This is an HP Plus printer, it requires internet connection and web services ennoblement, you cannot disable automatic firmware updates as Web Services are enabled for the printer, please see its "HP+ Smart Printing System" section:
