HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer

I've just replaced my old printer with a Desk Jet 3755.  

After trying to connect with the usb, I tried wireless, at least with that I can get the test page.  I've installed and un-installed several times, check driver, checked software and nothing seems to work.

When I use the print doctor, the test page will print, colors are perfect, lines are perfect, black ink is so faint it can barely be seen.  Ink levels are good, so I am completely baffled as to what the issue is.

I work from home, so this is something I need in my office.  Hoping there is an easy fix, and I don't have to go searching for another replacement printer!!  

Appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Did you make any changes to your printer?
  • Are you able to make copies from the printer?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Color or Black Ink Not Printings and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
