I am coming across the error "Test page failed to print. Would you like to view the print troubleshooter for assistance? Unable to create print job." This happens on every printer that I have installed on my computer and will not let me print anything at all.
I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the printer, restarting the print spooler, restarting the computer, using a new account to make sure that it is not user specific, changing the security on the printer to Everyone having Full Control, installing a completely new printer, sharing printers over to the problem computer, running troubleshooter, and probably a good handful of others that I can't think of.
I was wondering if this is something that has become corrupt or a setting that I have just glossed over. I have scoured the internet trying to find an answer that works and I haven't been fortunate yet.

Hi,
A such will likley occour due to a curropted user profile with not enough permissions to the temp folder of the OS to process the print job.
Try following these steps to get teh required permissions and see if that helps:
- From the Control Panel select User Account and take a note of your exact User Name.
- Right click the Start menu and select Run.
- Type %temp% and press OK.
- Browse one level up, right click the selected Temp folder and press Properties.
- Within the Security tab click Edit.
- Click Add, type your User Name and press Check Names, then press OK.
- Add additional account, type Everyone, Check names and press OK,
- Select Allow - Full Control for both added users and press OK.
- Confirm any prompt by clicking OK, you may get many alerts due the lack of permissions, keep pressing OK till no more prompts are seen, then press Apply and OK.
- Now try printing a test page and check for any difference.

After almost an hour online with a very helpful HP support technician who tried many things, he ran out of time after trying this and getting errors. I just completed the steps above and my OfficeJet Pro 8120 now prints like a charm - Thanks!
