Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer
I am a MacMini user with OS Sonoma 14.5 and recently a few odd things have occurred and may be related to each other; these are:
1. The dock icon for the OfficeJet Pro 8710 has been replaced by a large question mark; HP Smart is still showing in the dock
2. When I print from various APPS the printer seems to be randomly overriding my printing preferences as selected. The most frequent issue is that while my selected and default printing mode is "Black and White, Fast Draft" with 2 sided printing selected, the item prints in higher quality color on one-side only.
My HP firmware and software is up to date as well.
Thank you in advance for your help.
