We kept getting this error for a couple of weeks. "The parameter is incorrect".... I uninstalled the drivers on the computer multiple times, re installed and so on, went as far as calling our vendor and they sent out multiple technicians. Fed up I asked for a temporary printer replacement. At this time I had already gone as fart as installing a different computer to scratch that of the possibilities. The error continued, I brought back the original machine for that group. I uninstalled the OS and reinstalled all necessary drivers. I made sure not to be using PCL6 but Universal drivers and this did not work on this m501n printer which was strange because that's all we have been suing. After some frustration has passed and knowing that my vendor tech was out I decided to read some of this forums and found a couple of paragraphs that I considered would help. On the (m5012n) printer Remove all setting and set printer back to factory default, considering I had already wiped the computer and had used a replacement computer and printer, I figured what do I have to lose??... Well to my surprise this worked. I removed all settings on the printer and reinstalled the setting to our specific needs, not to mention using the Universal Printer settings on the computer. Once this was done I had been able to print and no longer getting the Parameter is incorrect error. Note we are on a Hospitality network environment running Windows 10 and Opera as the primary program that was getting this error. The printer was reconfigured to static IP on DHCP.

I had the same problem
Hours and hours spent on all the things you tried
The solution changed the security settings on the "Temp" folder to all/everybody/unrestricted access r/w/mod
Ran into the same problem on another install and the same fix worked again

Hi, I have a similar situation, the parameter is incorrect, my method is changing the decimal system setting, maybe you can also have a try, following are the steps:
Step1: Go to Control Panel and search “Region and Language” from the search bar.
Step2: After this, click on “Formats” and then on “Additional Settings” tab.
Step3: Now, type “.(dot) in the decimal symbol field and press “OK” twice.
In addition, reforming the drive is also a choice, but before doing so, remember to make a backup. Or you can just download the Bitwar Data Recovery to avoid data loss.
