I uninstalled HP Smart as I was all of a sudden unable to scan from my iphone.  I have 2 HP accounts.  When attempting to add using HP Support Asst I see the printer in the list but error message states:

The Serial Number has already been registered with a different HP account.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

 

I see that you are facing connectivity/scanning issues with HP Printer.

 

I suggest you install the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.
