Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all,  HP Office 6962 was working fine up until we upgraded some of our network hardware, and also picked up a WiFi 6 Mesh Router, ever since, the blue wireless light has been blinking on the printer.

I have tried manually unplugging both the router, and printer, and plugged printer in first, than the Router this time, and any type of changes I try to make or do anything it says that message  That the Printer h as been locked by the Person who set up the Printer.

Anyway, this has been a problem that has plagued us for over 2 months.  I have searched all over the Internet for a fix or something, and this is where I am left off.

So, I am really hoping by reaching out to HP that I will get an answer soon.   Thank you so much for your time and taking the time to read this.

You may be able to get the printer to the initial wireless setup mode without the password. Instructions in this Knowledge Base article https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Knowledge-Base/Wi-Fi-connection-is-lost-after-router-or-netwo...

If not you will likely need to perform a factory reset.

Hi.  Thank you very much for your response and posting those articles.  Unfortunately I still cannot Reset Network Settings as it says they were locked by the person who first setup the printer.

This is very annoying.  If anyone has a fix for this, please please speak up. Thank you very much!

Hello again.

I am still having the same issues and I am wondering if somebody from HP can come out and talk about this issue, and  if there is a fix for it.   I can't really afford getting a new printer right now, and the printer I have is not that old and still prints fine,

I don't know why, but whenever you change your Router, I don't know if it is specific to the WiFi 6 Mesh Routers?

Or if there is anyway to perform a factory reset because this is driving me completely insane trying to fix this issue.
