I receive error messages from MacOS when I try to print. The HP site shows that I have to remove the existing driver and install a new driver. I therefore removed my existing printer driver and tried to install a new driver. It seems that HP only has an update driver for MacOS X 10.9 from 31-01-2014 as newest while I have MacOS X 10.15.7. I have tried to update with this newest driver from HP, but this didn't solved the issue with the error messages from MacOS. Is there a way to fix this?

@JOOP_K, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand your concern. There is no printer driver available on the HP Support site for this model printer to work on macOS 10.15. This printer is not AirPrint compatible too.
However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.
NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
