Hi All...........

There's no board listed to fit my issue that I have been trying to resolve for months now.

Purchased this HP Deskjet 2600 All in one (Model #2655) coming up on 8 or 9 months & still haven't been able to use due to the fact it prints PDF files just fine but does not print pics nor any other kind of document format.

Example:

Recipe off net.........  printer goes through the printing motions but blank paper comes out.

Tried printing out instructions for the wireless option by hitting the wireless & info tab at same time.... printing motion but blank page.

Connected to my turbo hub (Network)........ same ip addy......... search for updated firmware...  click yes for updates......... sorry you are not connected to internet, but tells me network status:Ready

Test page comes out just fine, product info comes out just fine.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, searched forums, followed all the same issues of this exact product that were resolved & guess what.... NOTHING.

Also colour cartridge full & black cartridge is reading pretty much empty. Starting to think this was a bloody return & they just re-boxed it. How can my black cartridge be almost empty when the dam printer doesn't print anything but PDF files, which I may have printed 5 PDF files.

Hi Cazza,

Please print a Printer Status Report by holding the Canel button for 3 seconds.

Can you see the printed report as below?

Please let me know, from your description I assume you will only see a color bar, due to experiencing a black ink quality issue.

Also, remove the black cartridge from the printer and close the door and print the report again using reserve mode (where the black is compiled from color ink).

What is the value of 13 - Total Pages Printed?

By replacing the black ink cartridge the problem will be resolved, the Setup black cartridge is intended for about 100-120 pages.

You may also remove it from the printer and print using the tri-color cartridge only till getting another  black cartridge.

That is not the problem... Besides all printer colour cartridges kick in when black runs out from my experience.

Obviously the HP printer is a load of garbage. I will cut my loss & go back to Cannon
