HO Envy 5640

Hi,

I have turned my HP Envy 5640 printer on after a few months of not using it. It said ink cartridges needed replacing, which I have done (with genuine HP cartridges).

The touch screen now says: Genuine HP ink cartridges installed, and there’s a blue ok ‘button’ on the bottom right of the touch screen which I have pressed. The touch screen is not responding. I have done a Hard Reset but the problem remains. Connection to the internet is wireless.

I’m getting quite stressed as I’m stating a new job working from home and need to get my printer working! Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Joanne

Make sure there is no protective plastic tape on the printer screen.

Leave the printer unplugged overnight and try powering on the printer. Check if the issue persists.
