HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This Company: "Eagles Repair LLC" / "TECH MACWIN (FL)", called me (referred by HP in the on-line chat) after I could not set up my printer 2755e. Unfortunately they talked me into "issues" with my computer that had to be solved in order to connect the printer. Total charge $ 321.00 Please clarify, if you know this company since it seems they are scamming people.

There seems no way to be able to connect with HP.

Welcome to the HP Community --

Bad news...

Whomever you originally contacted, however you contacted them -- they were not HP.

The phone call was a sneaky way to get you attention and convince you to march into the web of lies.

None of it was HP -- not the site, not the chat, not any of it.

Contact your bank.

It's just another example of a cleverly disguised Scam by rats who took your money and likely did worse if you allowed them to walk around in your computer.

===================================================

HP does not support a scam.  Not.  Certainly not.

The Internet is full of presumed good help, and also rats, thieves, and dark corners - very dark and dangerous corners.

Whomever you contacted was not HP.

Repeat >> Contact your bank - ask for help to reverse the charges.

Printer sites pretending to be something they are not can be particularly malicious.

Details...

I have been taken in by this company when I too thought I was dealing with HP.  In fact I was transfered to this company by the HP tech who I had been working with to solve a printer issue.  I now have another printer issue and contacted the number I was given for aid.  The number was a call center with a speaker.  He could not help me and told me I would get a return call with a qualified tech.  It has not happened yet as I am writing this.  I now am finally accepting that I have been scammed.  Eagle Repair LLC has a Florida address, i.e. the home base of many scammers.    Shame on HP for allowing this to prey on customers.l  I will no longer trust HP to handle my computer problems.
