Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Bought this printer used.    Trying to setup scan-to-email which is one of the most important things I need.   For the life of me I can't seem to get this working.  I have it USB attached to a Windows 7 32-bit machine.   I have tried to hit the EWS from that PC as well as my work laptop which is Windows 11 and get the same error.    Error is in the Subject.   Doesn't matter if I use Chrome or Edge.   I get this error and the articles out here don't seem to work.   Help!

So to clarify, you are scanning the document to your computer and then sending the email from your computer based email?

I'd rather not.  I used to have an OJ6850 - it just had an embedded web server and I could punch in the e-mail address I want it to go to and away it goes.   The printer started to malfunction so I replaced it w/this.   This does not seem to have that ability.   Bottom line I just need to be able to scan to e-mail and I just need an easy way to populate it w/e-mail addresses to choose from or have a way to add one if needed.   It seems from what I can read I have to do that w/the Embedded web server - which I go to, then get the error in the title when I click through to setup E-mail Profiles or any of the e-mail setups under Scan to E-mail setup
