HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw

I'm using a 3rd party toner cartridges that worked perfectly fine until the printer automatically updated the firmware while I was on vacation. How do I fix this problem? I need to print asap and thought maybe I could downgrade the firmware to the previous one, but I can't find the previous one and the printer isn't letting me install older firmware until I replace the toner cartridges. There has to be an easy solution that does not include buying all new toner cartridges!

I'm beyond furious about this! My printer is completely bricked unless I go buy HP toner cartridges to replace the perfectly good 3rd party cartridges. If I don't get a resolution on this pretty quickly, it won't be HP cartridges I'll be buying. It will be a new non-HP printer I'll be buying so I don't ever have to deal with this again. Time to start shopping. I've wasted too many hours on this and my business is paying the price for it.
