Hi,

 

I own a 4 year old Laser Jet Pro MFP M479fdw. Since 4 weeks the touch screen display is defect, the colors are washed out und the brightness is massively reduced. However - it still works somehow.


I need a replacement part for the unit; but I am not able to find suitable parts in the internet. I found some displays for the M477fdw; but I doubt that these tpuch screens will work for the 479?

Anyone with ideas for repairing or a replacement part shop?

Unfortunately - not.
But the printer still works, on that level.

I was able to find and order the part, I haven't got it yet so I can't confirm that it does the trick, but for anybody else looking and future reference it's the control panel assembly, part. W1A78-67903
