Hi I hope someone can help me..

I have not had any problem with my printer for years now since downloading windows 10 several months ago.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and drivers several times but still seems to be a communication problem w the system.

I have done that before and it worked.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

PS I am not really knowledged on the subject

Hi HevnLgh!
Thank you so much for your response!
I ended up calling a guy in the area who came over for a small fee.
I believe the moral of the story is that my printer is outdated.

Thanks so much 😀

Hello @SteveO75,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! 🙂 I see you are running into some issues with your HP Photosmart C309a since upgrading your Computer to the Windows 10 Operating system.

1. How did you update the software and drivers for the printer, using the software CD or download?

2. How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?

3. Do you get any error messages?

I would like you to start troubleshooting here: After Windows 10 Upgrade, Printer Does Not Print

What are the results? Are you now able to print?
