Trying to connect HP Envy 7645 to new MAC OS 15 Sequoia computer....I've downloaded the drivers,

but HP Easy Start is stuck on "Gathering Device Information" and printer on "Trying to Connect".

I have turned off printer, turned off computer, restarted router, and back on in reverse order twice.

Thank you, Jackie

@jkreitze1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy 7645 printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like the HP Easy Start software is having trouble detecting the printer properly. Try these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Restart HP Easy Start

  • Close HP Easy Start completely.
  • Restart your Mac.
  • Reopen HP Easy Start and try again.

2. Connect Printer via USB

  • If possible, connect the printer to your Mac using a USB cable.
  • Let HP Easy Start detect the printer and complete the setup.
  • Once the setup is complete, you can switch back to Wi-Fi if needed.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
