Hi @BMR5,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I can help you with that! Here are some general steps to troubleshoot and connect your HP printer to Wi-Fi.
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly.
- Make sure your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi network.
Printer's Wireless Settings:
- On your HP printer, navigate to the settings or setup menu.
- Look for the "Wireless" or "Network" settings.
- Choose the option to set up a new wireless connection.
SSID and Password:
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Wi-Fi Direct:
- Some HP printers have a Wi-Fi Direct option. Check if your printer supports this feature and try connecting using Wi-Fi Direct.
Reset Network Settings:
- If you're still having issues, you can try resetting the network settings on your printer and then attempt the setup process again.
Printer Software:
- Ensure that you have the latest HP printer software installed on your computer or device. You can download the latest drivers and software from the official HP website.
Restart Devices:
- Restart your HP printer, Wi-Fi router, and the device you're trying to print from. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
Check for Interference:
- Make sure there are no electronic devices or physical obstacles causing interference with the Wi-Fi signal.
Printer Firmware Update:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP printer. Updating the firmware can improve compatibility and performance.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
