Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My old PC crashed.  I got a new one.  I'm trying to get my Deskjet D2445 hooked up and working on the new PC but what I've downloaded from HP stops with the message, Extraction Failed. Cannot Delete Output file.  It looks as if I may have to bite the bullet and buy a new combination printer/scanner since my Deskjet is 16 years old.  Anyone have a clue as to what I can do to avoid buying a new printer?
