To allow full scan capabilities too, I also suggest installing the HP Easy Scan app from the store:

I downloaded easy scan from the store. it appears to be up-to-date! So I can again scan directly from scanner to computer! Without having to use 'fotolader'.

HP site isn't very easy to surf. It took me quite some effort in finding the answer to my problem.
