HP OfficeJet Pro 8125e. Initial setup. Trying to install ink cartridges. There are orange plastic pieces on them (which I didn't have on my previous printer cartridges.) The picture is not very clear as to how you are supposed to remove them. I don't want to ruin the cartridges, and don't comprehend exactly how they are to be removed. HELP! I am in desperate need of a printer, and phone support is not available on weekends!

Thanks for the video! Wish I would have had it yesterday, but was getting so frustrated trying to work with the cartridges, and afraid to push so hard on that orange plastic piece. I finally gave it all I had & then some and got one off. Smooth sailing after that. Still working a bit with the wi-fi situation & computer, but at least I was able to get the page I needed printed and then copied!  Have a Great Day!!

Thank you ahead of time! I got real brave and used as much strength as I could muster up in my right hand to push it off, but it did it. Think I need a break now!! Have a great weekend. Hoping to get through the rest of the setup!!

Hi @AMZ44

You need to twist the orange plastic a little bit and pull to remove it.
