Product: HP Laptop 15-dw3003ni i5-1135g7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I am trying to install my Canon Inkjet printer Pixma iP2840 from the supplied CD as well as from the Canon website. I am stalled right at the end when "cannot detect printer" comes up. I have tried all the Canon solutions but to no avail. Not sure how to rectify this problem.

This forum is for HP Printers. Would suggest that you try Canon Support for help, pretty sure the good folks at Canon would be more than happy to assist you.
