What USB cable do I use to connect DeskJet 2955 printer to my Mac, and can I have BOTH a Wi-Fi connection and a cable connection?

The USB port on the printer is a standard B connector. I call it the loaf of bread connector because the shape reminds me of that. It will really depend on your MAC. You will likely need either a USB a>b connector or a USB C>B connector
C style
Most HP printers will support connection of WIFI and USB at the same time. Plug it in and try and you will know for sure.
